Irrigation hoses

reliable in any area

People are dependent on the products of agriculture for their livelihood. Farms rely on seeds as well as corresponding techniques to allow them to flourish, in part entirely independently of Mother Nature. PARSCH irrigation hoses are one of these techniques.

High volumes of water for the irrigation of fields and plantations are pumped under high pressure through the hoses to the rain machine. This provides fruit trees, various types of grain, vegetable, and ornamental plants or even lawns with sufficient water even in hot and dry summers. True to the motto Quality Made in Germany … Quality Made by PARSCH … we offer high quality at a fair price-performance ratio.

Applications and uses for irrigation hoses

Besides the field of application as a sprinkler hose in agriculture, the hose can also be used for slurry transport. But this is not all they can be used for. Moreover, our hoses are also widely utilized in the industrial sector as well as in the construction business.

What is irrigation?

In short, sprinkling describes the spraying of water on garden or agricultural areas. Its purpose is to supply the water needs of ornamental as well as agricultural plants. The introduction of water via sprinkler hoses in connection with the sprinkler machine not only prevents the lack of water, but also improves the so-called Turgescence. It is the internal cell pressure in plants. Irrigation and sprinkling, in addition to promoting growth, prevent wilting and possible financial losses. In warm to high air temperatures, there may be a high rate of evaporation. For this reason, it is best to irrigate at night or even in the very early hours of the day.

Distributing and spraying water through sprinkler hoses can also prevent frost damage. So-called frost protection irrigation is recommended for spring crops such as:

  • Strawberries
  • Vines
  • Fruit crops
  • Early potatoes

Moreover, in the construction industry, sprinkling is a popular means of minimizing dust formation during demolition work. Forestry operations use sprinkler irrigation to preserve felled timber.

What is slurry hosing?

You can also use irrigation hoses for slurry hosing. As a continuous process, slurry is pumped to a distributor. This makes slurry hosing a viable alternative to commercial slurry spreading.

In this process, a hose, sometimes several hundred meters long, is laid from the feeder vehicle (e.g. tractor) to the slurry station, e.g. at the end of the field, or directly to the slurry cellar on the farm. The vehicle itself has a mobile distribution system for spreading the slurry. The semi-liquid natural fertilizer is pumped to the distribution system via the manure hose and “injected” into the field.

The great advantage of this distribution method? In this case, no slurry tanker weighing tons is pulled over the often very sensitive field soil at walking speed. Slurry distribution allows continuous work without the need for refilling trips.
